Crystal Palace will reportedly have the chance to sign James Rodriguez this summer.
That’s according to reports in South America, which claim the former Real Madrid Galactico has been offered to the Eagles ahead of a possible summer deal.
After previous club Olympiacos opted to part ways with him last month, Rodriguez, 31, is now a free agent, and although Brazilian side Botafogo have made their intention to sign him in the summer known, Selhurst Park is now also believed to be a possible destination for the Columbian.
Botafogo, who are based in Rio de Janeiro, are owned by John Textor, who’s also a large shareholder in Crystal Palace, and that has promoted suggestions that the businessman not only wants his Brazilian side to sign him but also his Premier League club.
