The next three games are absolutely vital for the immediate future of Leeds United Football Club and their players.
A battling performance at the Etihad Stadium against Man City may have produced at least a point if Rodrigo had scored what turned out to be a consolation a little earlier in the game.
It may give Sam Allardyce hope that he will be able to save them from the depths of the Championship too, but they’ll need to be at their very best to beat either or all of Newcastle United, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur in their final three fixtures.
The Magpies still need the points to confirm their inclusion in next season’s Champions League tournament so are likely to be fired up for their Elland Road encounter, whilst West Ham are still not safe from the drop either.
The Hammers at least earned three points against Man United which has given them the breathing space that Leeds currently lack.
A final game of the season at home to Tottenham could be the one which makes or breaks their Premier League stay, and to that end, the goalkeeper role will come under some scrutiny.

Joel Robles was given the nod ahead of Illan Meslier against Man City, and it would seem that he’ll also play the final three matches in goal too.
As Fabrizio Romano tweeted, however, his contract runs out at the end of the 2022/23 campaign so those few games at the back end of the current season may be the last he plays for the club.
